GFD's Aims & Objectives
Gambia Federation of the Disabled set the following aims and objective in order to promote it's principles.
Muhammed Krubally
Muhammed Krubally The current chairman of the Gambia federation of the disabled a visually impaired person, he fought all oaths to get basic education from provincial Gambia and completed his high school at Nusrat one of the best high schools in the country.
Muhammed holds bachelor degree in law from the university of The Gambia.
He served in various capacities in some disabled people organization and rose through the ranks a to the position of the Chairman of GFD.
Apart from been the Chairman of the Gambia federation of the Disabled, Muhammed is the only visually challenge magistrate in The Gambia.

The Trail Blazer award for person with disability nominees include: Adama Sarr, Lamin Ceesay and Lamin Manneh among them Mrs Adama Sarr emerge the winner of the award. In her message, Adama express words of appreciation for the award and the chairman of GFD for the support.
